Answered: NEC3 ECC: How long after termination does the Project Manager certify a final payment to or from the Contractor on Short Subcontract ?

The Project Manager does not have a role in administering the subcontract between Contractor and Subcontractor, it is the Contractor who does this.

No timescale is stated in the short contracts and as such the normal payment provisions will apply. In the Engineering and Construction Short Subcontract it is the Subcontractor's application for payment which triggers payments, see clauses 50.1, 50.4, and 51.1.
